The Divine Liturgy of the Armenian Apostolic Church is known as Soorp Badarak. In Armenian it does mean 'Holy Sacrifice' and it is the principal worship service of the Armenian Apostolic Church and the most important expression of the Church's Faith and Identity. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. Mt 26:27The Badarak provides the most intimate encounter we can have with God in this life. In the Divine Liturgy, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, comes to his people - to you and me - by his holy Body and Blood, in Holy Communion. This is the Pillar or building blocks of the Divine Liturgy in all ancient, apostolic churches.
