Born in Siberia, Russia, Garry Gekhman fell in love with the art of dance at age six. He has won many prestigious dance competitions, including national titles in Israel and the United States. It was an honor to be featured on Dancing with the Stars and American Dance Challenge as a special guest performer. He's also been featured in The New York Times and Dance News, among other publications. A World Vice Champion, he enjoys operating his dance studio, adjudicating, and giving lectures. Garry is passionate about teaching dance to children and adults. Now a U.S. citizen, he resides with his wife and three children in northern Virginia
