CYNTHIA RYLANT is the acclaimed author of more than eighty books for young people, including the beloved Mr. Putter & Tabby series. and her novel Missing May, which received the Newbery Medal. Ms. Rylant lives in Portland, Oregon. TIM BOWERS has created illustrations for children's books, textbooks, magazines, greeting cards, and many other novelty items for more than twenty years. He lives in Granville, Ohio.
