OverviewI wrote this book because when my son was a little boy, he asked me if I would give him a dog. I refused to do so, because I knew it was a big responsibility. Dogs needed a lot of attention and love. Being a single parent was difficult, and I didn't have the extra time to take care of a pet. I had pets in the past, but I was never good at giving them the attention they needed. I always felt that I let them down by not being there for them. Pets were to be treated like family. They often communicated their feelings by barking, just like in the book Little Justin and Mocha-Bear - The Tale of an Amazing Dog. Inside, you will read about a female German Shepherd that captured a little boy's heart and the special love they shared. Mocha-Bear was smart, caring, loyal, and protective. The book shows the communication and bond that is formed between a child and his loyal companion. The book is based on a true story that will be shared in detail in my next book, Mocha: The Life of a Great German Shepherd. Coming soon in 2026.
