Author Information

Catherine Lynn draws her writing inspiration from watching her three toddler grandsons explore and learn from their outdoor adventures with the family, including activities like fishing, hiking, boating, and biking. Her book, Little Brook Trout: A Fly-Fishing Tale, is the second in the series titled, ""There's an adventure outdoors,"" which aims to inspire children with the message, ""I'm brave! I can do it!"" Catherine Lynn grew up in a small steel mill town in Northwest Indiana, close to Lake Michigan 's Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. Her childhood memories of visiting Lake Michigan and family vacations in Minnesota, known as the Land of 10,000 lakes, inspired her debut children's book, Ace Loves His Lake: A Dragonfly Tale. Catherine Lynn now lives in Florida with her husband and their Cavapoo, Reggie. Look for her next book, Moon Snail: A Shell Quester's Tale.
