ALICE SCHERTLE is a poet and the author of the best-selling Little Blue Truck books and many other children's books. She lives in Plainfield, Massachusetts. JILL MCELMURRY is the illustrator of the best-selling Little Blue Truck books and other adored picture books, some of which she also wrote. She splits her time between New Mexico and Minnesota.
