Domestic Violence (DV) is not acceptable - violence of any degree is so unnecessary and causes great pain and suffering for too many. My story is not about the tragedy, the misfortune or the victim label. My story is about using an invisible 'get out of jail free card' and daring to live life again and paint a new canvas. Throughout the pages of Little Bites, I share my escape route and what worked and what didn't. It is my hope that women and men in similar circumstances feel they, too, can make the great escape and travel beyond to lighter and brighter days and ways of living.

Bobbin has a deep appreciation for life itself. From a fortunate upbringing with loving parents she fondly recalls a childhood full of wonder and exploration that undoubtedly set firm foundations for her love of nature and understanding of the spirit world. Only when married, did she face the opposite and the unthinkable. Drawing on her background of quality control and compliance in the service industries sector, with a keen eye for detail and organisational skills, Bobbin took all she had learned to provide herself with the quality of life she'd once known. Following her escape from Domestic Violence Bobbin has resumed her passion and appreciation for nature where she is an active member of her local community garden, continuing to honour her passion for helping others.
