Gary studied at The University of Essex between 2001-2004, achieving a Bachelor of Arts with an Honours degree in History. Between 2010-2011 he studied for a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at The University of East London achieving Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). He has been a Teacher in Primary Schools for 14 years to date. Heather studied Business Management & Human Resources, achieving a First Class Bachelor of Arts in 2016. Alongside her job in the arts sector, Heather hosts a podcast called 'History with H' where she discusses historical castles and palaces with guests. Gary and Heather got engaged at Framlingham Castle in May 2023 and are getting married at Hedingham Castle in August 2025.
