She completed her doctorate at the Department of Educational Science of the University of Hamburg. Since 2010 she has been working as professor for German as Second Language at the University of Vienna. Johannes Koeck studied German Philology at the University of Vienna where he got also a master degree in German as a Foreign and Second Language. Lecturer at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico and Goethe-Institut in Mexico-City. Currently he is working as lecturer at the department for German Studies at the Masaryk University in Brno (Czech Republik). Birgit Springsits studied at the Federal Pedagogic Academy in Vienna ( Special Needs Education ), the University of Vienna (teaching profession in German and Catholic Religion ) and at the Pontifica Universita Gregoriana (Roma).
