Author Information

Lee Wind writes the books that would have changed his life as a young Gay Jewish kid--and he's always looking for ways to be a better ally! Researching Eleanor Roosevelt for his nonfiction No Way, They Were Gay? inspired Lee so much that it sparked the idea for this picture book. Lee is also authored picture books Love of the Half-Eaten Peach and Red and Green and Blue and White. He runs the popular blog I'm Here. I'm Queer. What the Hell Do I Read? - words his younger self only dreamed of saying. Lee lives in LA with husband of more than 25 yrs and their daughter.
