J. NEIL WEINTRAUT is the founder and General Partner of venture capital firm 21st Century Internet Venture Partners. He has been immersed in the Internet since its commercialization in 1994. He pioneered and led the Internet practice at Hambrecht Quist, a leading investment-banking firm, whose work included underwriting such Internet companies as Netscape, UUNE, Lycos, CNET, Check Point Software, and Vocaltec.
