Overview

Growing up I never gave death much thought, or did I ever think my life would be worthy of writing about. Reflecting back, I now believe I have an incredible story to tell. This story is NOT about dying or death, it is however about living, and the many times death lost. Thus comes the title Life VS Death I know I am not the only one that has survived incidents that very well could have resulted in death. In fact when asked, everyone I spoke to could recall once, or twice during their life when they escaped death. What separates my story from most are the numerous times life won. A few of the events may not have been life threatening as much as crippling. All in all, there are over twenty occasions I will share.

Born September 19th 1953, during the wee hours of the morning. Lived in Greeley, Colorado most all my life. Graduated High School in 1972 from Jay, Oklahoma where I lived with my grandmother. I spent over 20 years as an OTR (Over The Road) truck driver... Until I was forced to retire due to an Accident in 1994. About 25 years ago we lived next to a couple that had a little boy about 3. He thought people was calling me Beef. So from that time on I have Been Beef. Everyone Calls me Beef... You can too.
