The book gives clear explanations and illustrations of what a puppy needs: food/water, training, guidance, love, cuddles, reassurance, safety. I think this would be a good book for parents to read to their children and discuss afterwards (what it means to adopt a pet and that it is a lifetime of responsibility) before a pet is adopted into the family.
