Overview

Life Love Laughter was created by Del Pope during a difficult time in his life when he found himself at age 57 divorced from the love of his life and having to start all over. Poetry was new to Del and it seemed to have come in a time when he needed it most. Poetry allowed him the opportunity to put into words what he was going through, his feelings, his new beginnings and happiness as he developed his new life through the making of new friends. "Del Pope was born near Warner, Muskogee County, Oklahoma into a family of cowboy boot makers and leather workers. At eight years old, they moved to Borger, Texas, a rowdy oil boom town, where he got his schooling into High School. By fifteen, his father said, ""This is your business college,"" and sent him to run a shoe shop in Sunray, Texas about fifty miles from home. Del married at nineteen and has since lived in 7 states and now settled in Mission Viejo California. He studied music and Christian Ministry at Pacific Bible College at Portland Oregon and Business Administration at the University of Hawaii. At this writing, he's eighty five years old and works as a handy man five to six days a week. Del is a member of Los Escribientes Writers Club and currently writing his autobiography."
