Each entry of Life--Lines was written to answer this question: ""Is there someone struggling today that needs to be encouraged?"" We read these words in Isaiah 50:4 (KJV): ""The Lord has given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary."" It is my prayer that, as you read, you will find that statement true!

DR. JEFF KLEINMAN has not spent his life sitting in the classrooms of higher education but rather in the marketplace among everyday people. After graduating from college, he eventually became a third-generation retailer in a business started by his grandfather. For the past twenty-eight years, he has owned a specialty construction company.
