My wife and I have known Sandra for most of our adult lives. Since making the Lord Jesus our focus and desire, it is a daily practice for us to seek the Lord, as devotionals invite you to do. When she read me the title, I laughed, but the content was so much more revealing. One can only write a ""Life Lessons"" devotional if you've lived the length of time it takes to accumulate enough experiences to draw from. These aren't your everyday lessons; they are thought-provoking but simple. They are combined with relevant Bible quotes and prayers, dreams and inspiration, and heart, along with Grandma's wisdom. I've known Sandra as a lifelong musician, soloist, and teacher of the arts to the same students and audiences she is now writing to, hoping to inspire a laugh, perhaps even provoke a tear. Really, these bits of insight are so timely...I challenge you to read any one of them. There's nothing like this.
