Well, that's what I do. I like to take the old and make something new of it. I was very intrigued by these old magazines. I also enjoy studying history, and here was page after page of history. Not only the stories they choose to cover, but the advertisements and the language used as well, fascinated me. I held an item that was produced before I was born, and almost one hundred years old. I took hold of 5 issues of LIFE from 1937, 1938, 1939, 1943 and 1948, the oldest ones I had, and went page by page, looking through history, for victims of my desire to ""deconstruct"" and ""reconstruct.""
