Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationSAM POLSON is the Lead Pastor of West Park Baptist Church in Knoxville, Tennessee, and featured teacher with the SonLight Radio media ministry. He also currently serves as Chairman of the Board for ABWE, the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism, and previously served for many years on the Board of Shepherds Ministries, an educational ministry for adults with developmental disabilities. Sam was born and raised in New Castle, Indiana, where he met and married his wife, Susan. He earned his Bachelor's and Master's degree in theology from Bob Jones University and then served seven years as an assistant pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Findlay, Ohio. The Polsons then moved to Knoxville, where Sam has served as Lead Pastor for more than 33 years. They have three grown children who live in the Knoxville area. Sam advises the pastoral team and staff, teaches in large and small group settings, and is the most energized by witnessing people come alive to the reality of the gospel.
