This book is based on true events. It is the story of my life, with fictitious names for a better narrative. My mother and I got to a point in our lives where we were so distant that for many years I avoided her. I wouldn't say it was entirely her fault because she thought she was doing the right thing for me. I wish I could take back those years I lost with my parents. Now I've written this book for those out there who may still have time to act and are experiencing the same thing as I did. How to be a better parent is what every mother or father desires for their children. You can't do that without carrying the child along. As a mother, you might be wondering why your kid doesn't talk to you or what caused the gap between you too. Daughters need their dads as much as they need their moms to. Have you ever felt your mom doesn't love you? Isn't she showing it enough? You need to know a lot about parenting teenagers, especially those with intense emotions. You have to be open-minded towards them. Part of what my mom had omitted Every child needs his or her parents as a backbone and a shield to fall back on. So, do parents need their kids? Are there areas you've missed? This story of my life will give you hints on some areas where you've missed and where you shouldn't fail, whether you're a parent or a child. It may serve as a solution to the subtle issues if we can understand our roles in our various homes. Time is precious, so act fast while you still have the ones you love!
