Life and Love Continue

Overview

""I am the last of my generation.""Judith Perkins preserves the stories that would otherwise be lost to time, tracing the threads of her family's history across eighty years of change. From her blind great-grandmother ""Bumma,"" who could only see the color red, to the beloved ""Pa,"" an attorney who called his grandchildren his ""Chums,"" these accounts provide a candid look at the figures who shape her.Life and Love Continue goes beyond a collection of memories; it is a deep look at the strong, independent Stuart women who worked outside the home and raised children through seasons of adversity. With unwavering honesty, Judy shares the sweetness of home-canned blackcap jelly and the bitterness of family secrets, proving that a family's true heritage is built on determination and unconditional love.
