Jerry Hollis was born in Charlotte, NC. He attended several schools in the Charlotte area and made his mark as a basketball player. He later went on to Johnston C. Smith University, also located in Charlotte, and continued the tradition of being a standout player. It is through Jerry's journey with life and basketball that he was inspired to share his story with others with the hope of inspiring others to see that they too can overcome any obstacles they experience. Jerry has one daughter and is currently playing overseas in Iceland.
