Overview

In 2176, The People's Republic of Central China is a land without biological women. The government has mandated sex changes for half of the country's males and created strict gender roles to ensure that traditional family structure is maintained through out the country. When Yi and his ""wife"" Ling discover the first biological female in over a few decades, their lives are suddenly changed. Dealing with the pressure of society, family issues, and daily problems, were difficult enough without raising a child whose sex puts her in danger. Join Yi and Ling as they navigate through the nuances of gender policies in their society and culture and grow to understand what values they hold.

CORMAC LIN was born in Taiwan to a Taiwanese mother and American father. He was educated and raised outside of Seattle, Washington. He graduated from Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington with an emphasis on Political Science. Cormac focuses his life today working with education, social issues, and animal rescue.
