Yasmine Everett is only sixteen years old when she's diagnosed with selective amnesia. On top of a straining relationship with her dad, she has to deal with being a social pariah at her high school. Amid these struggles, Yasmine begins to experience a euphoric feeling she refers to as 'drifting.' But when a sinister figure visits her with a shocking revelation, she finds that the truth about her condition may be more horrific than she imagined. Instead of standing by idly, Yasmine and her two best friends-Liv and Trey-search for answers to what's causing her faltering memory.
