Sambhu Nath Halder is presently working as Chief Librarian in J. D. Birla Institute, Jadavpur University, Kolkata. He has turned his career into Library and Information Science profession after obtaining the Certificate in LIS from Bengal Library Association and subsequently completed BLIS & MLIS. He has accomplished Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (GDCA). He has also qualified SET from WBCSC. He was a Government funded University Research Scholar in the University of Kalyani. He has started his work as a Librarian at the Department of Business Administration, University of Kalyani. He also has the experience of working as a Library-In-Charge in Narula Institute of Technology, Kolkata. He has published a pretty good number of research papers in national and international journals, edited books etc. and has presented papers in national as well as international seminars. He is the secretary of Kalyani University Library and Information Science Alumni Association (KULISAA) and active member of Bengal Library Association (BLA), Indian Association of Special Libraries and Information Centres (IASLIC), Indian Library Association (ILA), etc. His areas of interest include Knowledge Organisation, Information Processing & Retrieval and ICT application in Library Services. Sibsankar Jana is presently working as Assistant Librarian in the University of Kalyani. He has completed M. Sc. in Geology from the University of Calcutta. He has passed MLIS & PGDDLM from Jadavpur University and received Gold Medal for standing first in the merit list. He has also qualified NET from UGC. He has already gathered lots of experiences as Assistant Librarian-II in Rabindra Bharati University as Assistant Librarian-II in the Department of Physics, Jadavpur University and as Guest Teacher of various universities in West Bengal. His publications include a good number of articles on the field of traditional and digital library environment published in scholarly journals, edited books and conference proceedings. He is now the member of Bengal Library Association (BLA), Indian Association of Special Libraries and Information Centres (IASLIC), Indian Library Association (ILA) and Intellectuals Society for Socio-Techno Welfare (ISST).
