He has published three books with Architectural Press (Butterworth-Heinemann) and is the author of over 200 journal articles from The Architectural Review to The Architects' Journal and Urban Design Quarterly. Brian Edwards draws upon several years in practise as an architect or urban planner in his research, writing and teaching. He currently serves on the RIBA Energy and Environment Committee and is a member of Kirklees Council's Sustainable Development Agenda 21 group.
