Author Information

John W. Weatherford (A.M.L.S., University of Michigan) has served as a library administrator from 1957 to 1988, his final position as Director of Libraries at Central Michigan University. For eight years he took an active part on behalf of management in bargaining with the Central Michigan faculty union. He has published articles on history, librarianship, and collective bargaining. His Collective Bargaining and the Academic Librarian was published by Scarecrow in 1978.
