Hyun Wu Lee taught history at Texas A&M University at Qatar. He specializes in Early American and Atlantic World history. His article on Colonel Henry Bouquet's plantations and the quartering dispute in Charles Town appeared in the South Carolina Historical Magazine (2016), and his research explores intercultural exchanges between British North America, the Mediterranean World, and Asia in the eighteenth century.Mark van de Logt is an Associate Professor of History at Texas A&M University at Qatar. He specializes in Native American and Indigenous studies and US military history. He is the author of War Party in Blue: Pawnee Scouts in the U. S. Army (2010) and Monsters of Contact: Historical Trauma in Caddoan Oral Traditions (2018). His articles have appeared in various journals, including the Journal of Military History and the American Indian Quarterly.
