Carl W. Hoffman was a major general in the United States Marines Corps. He served in World War Two, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. During World War Two he earned the Silver Star and two Purple Heart Medals while participating in operations on Guadalcanal, Tarawa, Saipan, and Tinian. His book Saipan: The Beginning of the End was first published in 1950. He passed away in 2016. Charles Constant is an actor whose professional storytelling career began at the age of thirteen, when he became an Actors' Equity Association apprentice. An accomplished audiobook narrator, he has recorded many popular titles, including How to Win at the Sport of Business by Mark Cuban.
