Dr. Monica Augustina Zhekov is a visiting lecturer of Translation and a Romanian language tutor at Middlesex University in London (UK). She is also a Registered Public Service Interpreter and Translator with a proven, long track record of success within language-based roles. Monica holds a Doctorate of Professional Studies in the field of Lexicography and a Master of Arts in Translation Studies from Middlesex University, London (UK). She is the creator and developer of an English-Romanian glossary of English Criminal Law for interpreters and legal professionals using electronic corpora. Dr. Zhekov has written several articles for ProZ.com Translation Article Knowledgebase of freelance translators and translation companies and The Linguist, the professional journal of the Chartered Institute of Linguists.
