Author Information

Cliff R. Jackson is an American writer and visual artist currently based in Atlanta, Georgia. A Georgia native, Jackson attended Clark Atlanta University where he studied Mass Media Arts with a Concentration in Art and Film. There, as a radio disc jockey, Cliff managed to build a deep knowledge of music, listener interaction, journalistic research, and media broadcasting. Following his time at Clark Atlanta, Jackson became certified in husbandry as a means of learning more about various animal species. His love for the care, cultivation, and conservation of animals has also guided his ability to present art works about animals of all kinds. Cliff's current role as an arts administrator at the Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta, GA undergirds his understanding of programming for children of all ages to inspire education, imagination, and curiosity. Jasmine Ali is an artist based in Kansas City. She graduated with her BFA in Graphic Design in 2016. She has been honing her skills in digital painting and graphic design since 2012. After surviving a stroke, Jasmine doesn't have the chance to express herself like others with their voices. She creates pieces that express her passions, thoughts, and views on the world. Her work allows her to be heard in ways she never thought was possible.
