Table of ContentsReviewsIt was a great pleasure to receive Professor Bain's new edition of her classic book, Leukaemia Diagnosis , to review. The third edition has graced the shelf above my microscope for the last seven years, during which much has changed in haematopathology, and it is very timely to publish an updated edition that incorporates the revised WHO 2008 classification...This is an invaluable book for the theoretical and practical diagnosis of leukaemia and is an essential acquisition for all haematopathology libraries. I have put my third edition to gentle retirement and I anticipate many engagements with the new edition in my day-to-day practice in the diagnosis of leukaemia in bone marrow trephine biopsies. I am sure those who primarily interpret aspirates or non-morphological data will find it equally useful.
