OverviewDeath. An inevitable part of life that no one wants to face. We live our lives as though we are destined to live forever. But, when death does occur, how are we to manage. When we lose loved ones close to us and it hits home, we begin to think about the times we never shared and the things we never said. Losing my father was this realization for me. Although we spoke often, we saw each other often and had what others sought in a father an daughter relationship, there are still things I wish we had the opportunity to experience together. There are moments that I wish we could still share. There are words that I wish I could still say. Because he is now gone, I wrote them all day and share them in this book. In my writing, my heart healed to some extent, and my mind was put at ease. I still cry, I still hurt, I am still sad and I still feel the pain, but for once, I was able to say everything that I felt in my heart by writing letters to my deceased father.
