Overview

The oldest of three girls Amy always saw herself as a protector. Often the target of her mother's mercurial nature, and her biological father's abusive family she sought escape through Arts. Books, television, music, and movies were where she wanted to live and at the young age of five she began to write her own tales of escape. Dreaming of a knight in shining armor that never came she realized she would have to rescue herself. At 23 she made the move from Kentucky to Texas to pursue her dream of filmmaking, unfortunately she was derailed early on by a nervous breakdown which led to the diagnosis of bipolar disorder. Letters to Daniel is her attempt to cope with this illness and the story of ultimate triumph by 'telling her story' to her favorite actor Daniel Craig. It is her hope that others in a similar circumstances that they too can take control of their life, achieve their dreams if only they hang in there, work hard, and believe.
