Stephanie Kahalekulu still responds to calls through the Xiana Fairchild Foundation, a nonprofit organization that organizes search parties to help in missing children cases, though she took time off to enable her own children to grow up away from murder and devastation. She is a Hawaiian native who used to perform professionally as a Hula dancer and now enjoys singing and acting in professional musicals in the Bay Area, has discovered a love for gardening and spends quiet time creating miniature Hawaiian and Country themed broken-pot gardens. She also enjoys watching her daughter pursue her career as a Director, Choreographer and Actor performing in Bay Area musicals and spending time with her son Devan and his wife and loving on her adorable grandchildren, Yvette and Koa boy. She fell into being an advocate for animals when she accidentally rescued her pup, Lola, who followed her home. The furry little bundle of joy seems to be a magnet for animals who need help so Kahalekulu often is trying to find homes for strays who follow her and Lola home. Kristi Belcamino is a writer, crime reporter, and Italian-American mama who makes a tasty biscotti. She is the author of the Gabriella Giovanni mystery series published by HarperCollins. As a reporter in the San Francisco Bay Area, she flew in an FA-18 jet with the Blue Angels, raced a Dodge Viper at Laguna Seca, and attended barbecues at the morgue.
