Overview

OPIOIDS! Are You or Your Loved Ones Impacted by America's Fastest Growing Drug Problem? In the midst of the 'opioid epidemic' Dr. Ann Schiebert's book Let's Make a Contract: Getting Your Teen Past the Opioid Epidemic could not come at a better time. This title expands upon the body of knowledge and techniques from her prior well reviewed and always relevant titles in the Let's Make a Contract series. If you are reading this, you already know that opioids come with distinct danger and consequences. No other book on the market specifically targets the intersection of teenagers and opioids--both of which come with their unique challenges, including: - Balancing pain management and recovery - Maintenance therapies (e.g., Suboxone and Methadone) - Opioid withdrawal - ""But, my doctor gave them to me"" - Breaking free From brain chemistry to recovery intervention techniques, Dr. Schiebert's book exposes the relevant nuances of opioids and how they impact an individual and those around them. If you are hoping to get on the front of a budding problem or tackle a full-fledged existing problem involving opioids head on, this is the right book for you. BONUS! All contracts in this book are available in electronic form to download, modify, and print.
