Overview

One of a series of 12 books designed to help parents and teachers assist young children in developing readiness skills in reading, handwriting and mathematics. The series includes four progressive levels for each area of learning with three books at each level. An activity card is included in each book. The activities are suitable for ages three to seven. This book focuses on developing readiness skills for beginning handwriting. The activities follow the suggested sequence of patterns that lead to the correct formation of letters. A list of specific skills to be developed and general teaching instructions are given at the front of the book. Additional revision and extension activities are listed inside the back cover.
