Author Information

Mary Murphy is celebrated internationally for her colourful, bold and simple images matched with words which speak directly to young children. She is author-illustrator of over 45 books and has been published in Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, The Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden and Taiwan, as well as in Britain, Ireland and the USA. Her previous book for Otter-Barry Books is Only a Tree Knows How To Be a Tree (2021). Mary lives in her home city of Dublin, Ireland.
