Author Information

Henryk Skolimowski was born and educated in Warsaw, after which he received his DPhil at Oxford University in1964. He taught at American universities from 1964 to 1992, mainly at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles and the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Henryk Skolimowski sees the third millennium as a millennium of Light. He sees human life as a unique form of existential sculpture accomplished through our will and creativity. Skolimowski is fascinated by the idea of the world as a sanctuary. Around this notion he has woven a new philosophical system called Eco-philosophy.
