Overview

Despite the title, this book is not just about me. When I reached my 75th birthday, I began to reflect on my life experiences and realized they were a series of happenings that shaped who I am. People have been telling stories of their lives for thousands of years. Most of these recollections are not written down. Over time, the details are forgotten and a rich history of a person is gone. I decided that I did not want my history to disappear so, I put it in writing. I have been blessed with a wonderful family and friends, and God has given me just enough wisdom and strength to muddle through more than 80 years without destroying the creative being He made. Oh, I have made mistakes and sometimes bad choices have complicated things. But I have had a good life. I hope that when you read this story, you will be inspired to sit down, reflect on, and write the story of your own life. If you feel overwhelmed by a project of such magnitude, pick a subject such as your childhood, your grandparents, your career, or whatever you would like to pass along to posterity. When you do finish, you might decide to publish your creation, or you might give it to your children and grandchildren. Either way that's great! They will then have the opportunity to learn who you are and what is important to you. I am sure that it will have a positive impact on them as they travel thru life.
