Cheryl Fiscus Jenkins is a Christian follower of Jesus Christ and a long-time member and deacon of New Beginnings Community Church in Franklin, Indiana. She has hosted Bible studies, headed Christian women's groups, served in Vacation Bible School, taught aerobics in community wellness ministries, volunteered in free healthcare clinics, and has coordinated many social outings for her church.She writes Let God's Grace Shine on Your Race in a conversational style similar to her column-writing experience as a journalist. She graduated from the University of Evansville with a bachelor's degree in communications/journalism and has been on staff or freelanced for four Indiana newspapers covering news, features, and sports. She has won writing awards for Best In-Depth Feature Story from the Indiana Associated Press and the Hoosier State Press Association.Cheryl is also the author of MOVE - Get Inspired for Your Health (AuthorHouse 2013), a fitness book focused on the importance of staying active for improved health.
