She grew up in Vermont and has lived in southern California for many years. This is her third book and her first graphic novel. You may want to read The Honey Boy Story, about a lost kitten who finds a home and Beagle Boy Watson, about an adopted dog and his wayward adventures. Look for her books on amazon.com. She takes watercolor painting classes, shares with a writers' group and by day works as a children's librarian. By night she walks a beagle. Even though she is hopelessly unathletic, she admires the work of Dr. Sheps and Leroy Dixon and other steadfast working athletes. Sybil hopes for kids everywhere to dream big and take pointers from the lives of sports figures like Leroy Dixon.
