Taxonomic catalogues do not make compelling reading - but then, catalogues are intended for non-linear reference to information such as the names of taxa, author and date of description, taxonomic status and type specimens. They are perceived better as a component of taxonomic infrastructure. As with all competent catalogues, this one does much to propel us towards a better understanding of just which genera and species should be included in the target taxon.'
