Author Information

Leonard Freed was a longtime member of the prestigious photo-cooperative Magnum. His work on postwar Europe and the civil rights movements in the United States is legendary. Among his many published books are Leonard Freed: Photographs 1954-1990, Worldview, and Black in White America. Michael Miller is the editor and publisher of the Berkshire Review. He divides his time between Italy and Williamstown, Massachusetts.
