Early Years Educator The book's simple and uncluttered pictures make it great for reading together and also for encouraging older babies to point to Lenny, his mummy and all the things he finds in the garden. Although this is not a board book, the strong paper pages with stood a fair amount of pulling and battering surprisingly well so recommended for impatient readers. Carousel Clearly written and follows a simple pattern of questions and answers throughout. This makes the story easy for young children to follow, join in with and predict - they can even create their own pages in the book! The illustrations are bright and eye-catching and could promote a discussion about what types of minibeasts can be found in the garden and where they are most likely to be found. A charming eye-catching book. Nursery Education
