He studied in Harare, Zimbabwe before coming to England where he studied Design and Print Planning at the London College of Printing. Ken has worked at Orchard Books, the BBC and as Assistant Art Director at David Bennett Books. He has won several international awards for his work including illustration and design awards in Zimbabwe and is the creator of more than 50 books including The Big Yellow Taxi, The Little Red Plane, The Amazing People's Circus and The Lenny books. He has books in nine languages published across the globe and recently launched Chicken Newspaper, a truly unique introduction to current affairs for those aged 4-11 years. He lives in London.
