Sara Quintero Ramírez realizó estudios de Maestría en Lingüística Aplicada y de Doctorado en Estudios Lingüísticos y Literarios en la Universidad de Guadalajara. Desde 1999, labora en esta misma casa de estudios. Es integrante del Sistema Nacional de Investigadores desde 2013. Entre sus temas de investigación destacan la sintaxis, el discurso deportivo y la lingüística del texto.
