Overview

Sanctuary is a futuristic, Tibetan-style nation on the planet Rom. The nation of Sanctuary is a refugee city occupied by citizens who possess elemental powers. United by a desire to exchange knowledge and skills with each other for the betterment of all, Sanctuary is governed by erudite officials. Courteous, a young nomad, seeks to return to his home city of Sanctuary. He hopes to help educate other elementals. However, his journey back home is interrupted by an unexpected encounter with his best friend, Armon. Will Courteous return to Sanctuary as a changed man or will Sanctuary change him?

Aaron Porter was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. A self-taught illustrator, Aaron was accepted into the Akron School for the Arts-Visual Art and Design program and the PLTW Architecture pathway at the Kent State University Academy of Design (Kent, Ohio). His artwork is inspired by anime, comic books, fashion, and his passion for architecture. He enjoys creating new graphic designs while relaxing to the sounds of Chillhop, rap, jazz, and rock music.
