Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationCynthia Traina-Donnes has been a paralegal educator for over 30 years, teaching bankruptcy, legal technology and advanced legal technology at Tulane University. She is a qualified family/civil mediator registered with the Louisiana Bar Association, a securities arbitrator with FINRA and a former bankruptcy trustee. She is also an approved CLE sponsor, conducting seminars in several practice areas. In addition to this book, Traina-Donnes co-authored LAW OFFICE TECHNOLOGY: A THEORETICAL APPROACH, 9th Edition, also published by Cengage. In November 2018, she was elected to the AAfPE board as the ABA commission representative. A former CASA advocate and CASA board president, she currently serves as an American Cancer Society board member. She has six children and six grandchildren. Doug Lusk is the founder and CEO of the National Society for Legal Technology (NSLT). He is a nationally recognized expert in the field of legal technology education and has been a keynote speaker at various bar association and technology conferences across the nation. Mr. Lusk's article, “What is missing when it comes to legal technology?” was published in USA Today in March 2018. By July of 2021, the NSLT’s Legal Technology Certificate served as classroom curriculum in more than 225 universities and colleges in the U.S. and Canada and had independent members in 11 countries around the world. After receiving his juris doctorate (J.D.) from the University of Laverne College of Law, Mr. Lusk accepted his first adjunct professor position at Fullerton College. Driven by a passion for education, he also accepted adjunct teaching positions at Mt. San Antonio College, Daemen College, Salt Lake Community College and University of California-Berkeley Extension.
