Commemorating the life of a World War II veteran, Legacy of Love was initially written about LaVerne McIntyre. Author Dennis McIntyre's father landed on the beach at Normandy at the age of thirty. His hopes and dreams were realized after returning from the war when he married Rae Wyland. They were blessed with three children and then tragedy struck.
