This book contains the third collection of 100 coloring pages with quotes from the writings of the Baha'i Faith. The quotes and illustrations are based on themes promoting kindness, unity, tolerance, peace and love along with other virtues needed to help build a more spiritual society. The books is designed to be used as an added creative resource for educating children about spiritual values. The Baha'i Writings are rich in conveying spiritual concepts using analogies taken from nature such as oceans, branches, trees, seeds, flowers, stars, light, the sun, clouds and rain. This way of explaining the Great Truths makes it easier for children and adults alike to understand and also lends itself well to creating nature based drawings. Pages can be photocopied as needed for any group activities or for use at home.

Author Information

Monika Ahlkvist Mackenzie was born in Sweden in 1962 and moved to Australia in 1969. She started Baha'i classes at a local school near Yeppoon in 1987. It quickly became very obvious that children enjoyed the art and craft component of lessons. Monika has always had a love of drawing and has created two previous books in this series.
