Author Information

Zehlia Babaci-Wilhite holds a Ph.D. in language and development in the field of comparative and international education from the University of Oslo in Norway. She grew up bilingual and studied at the Sorbonne University in Paris, where she specialized in French Teaching for Foreigners (FLE). She has taught a variety of courses (Language, Culture and Human Rights, Linguistic Rights, Language and STEM/STEAM Subjects, Applied Linguistics, Critical Thinking, French Language and Culture) at the University of California at Berkeley, University of San Francisco, San Jose State University, and Saint Mary's College. She has written numerous articles published in tier one academic journals, contributed chapters for many books, authored two monographs, and edited four books.
